My eyes water with my new eye glasses?
I just got new eye glasses, which Ive been wearing for night-time driving and such (i am slightly nearsighted) these are my second pair, 5 years since my last exam. I see very sharply out of these new ones, but i noticed that my eyes water a little bit…is this normal for new glasses with a higher perscription?? Ive only had them for one day
yes this is a stronger script so maybe ill just need to adjuist…thanks

If theres nothing wrong with ur glasses as in the glass number if it matches ur eyesite thne u need not worry for the first 2 days u will go thru the phase of adjusting to the new glasses. It’s normal to feel the distortion but incase ur number has remained the same then it shud not be a problem for u at all. wait for a day more and c how ur eyes are adapting to the new glasses…but if the same watering problem occurs on day 3 do go to ur eye specialist and get ur eyesight checked and then the glass number verified. see if they both match. eyes water only when u use glasses with modified number or r introduced newly. otherwise it shud never be a problem.
It is very normal for your eyes to water when you have your new glasses your eyes are just getting use to the good view just give it sometime it will be over before you know it.
The reason that this is happening is because you just got new glasses with a higher prescription.
The last time you had your last exam was 5 years ago so it is a big change.
