Trouble seeing while driving at night?

I had my eyes checked a couple months ago, and they said my vision was pretty much perfect… the lady looked confused after she got my results. She was like, "Why did you come here? Your vision is fine." But when I drive at night, I have a lot of trouble reading signs. It’s just the signs though, I can see the road and other cars just fine, and during the day I can read signs fine when they’re not too far away. At night though I can’t read them at all until I’m right in front of them and they’re almost passed. Should I get reading glasses for driving at night?
Hahahaha thanks for the "don’t drink and drive" advice. I don’t, just for the record. ;)

Veggies! I didn’t think about that!! Thanks!!

I’ve had this problem before. I thought it was the lights of other cars, but I don’t think it is.
