I just got glasses and every time I put them on my eyes burn. I think they might be to small for my eyes because the rims make my eyes feel constricted and when driving at night the glare off the rims give me tunnel vision.

Hi,
Ive just got an eye test. Result was sph -0.5 for each eye and slight astigmatism in one of the eyes (i forgot which one). The optometrist was going to give me prescription glasses (to help driving at night) but i thought that i did not need one. They usually jack up the price anyway. So, the question was do i need glasses?

I just got glasses after my most recent visit to the doctor. I had trouble driving at night and reading signs off in the distance. I was wondering whether I had to update my license as I got my current license before I got glasses. The optometrist said that I should wear my glasses while driving.

For the past couple months or so, I have realised that my eyes don’t see so well when driving at night. Even with my glasses my eyes bother me, especially when car headlights hit my eyes. AHHHH its the worst! I go blind or see glares. I went to the optometrist and was diagnosed with astigmatism. I just want to know, anybody out there have this horrible and uncomfortable vision when driving at night? Does it get better over time, like will I get used to it? Because it sucks, I mean what? Am I not gonna be able to drive at night no more? Ahhhh I wish I could afford Lasik surgery.

I can read close up and far away, i have no problem seeing things at all except for when i am driving at night. Head lights blind me, I cant see far ahead, and I think I see things and slow down and nothing is there. I know sounds crazy, but is there anything that can be done for this? May be a stupid question but do they make glasses for driving at night? Will it hurt my vision if I start wearing glasses just at night? Please help….
